My name is Stéphane. I have been playing competitive tackle football for 6 seasons now, locally, provincially and in high school.

I currently play for the Cumberland Panthers in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). I play at the position of Right Tackle (RT) on the offensive line. Our first game will be on May 26th in Markham and our home game opener will be on June 3rd in Cumberland.

During the last three seasons I have started at the position of Offensive Tackle (right or left). Last summer I played in the OVFL in Ontario with the Junior Varsity Cumberland Panthers (#68). Our season ended in the league quarter finals with a record of 7-4. This past fall I played with the Gloucester South Raiders (#57) in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA). We finished the season with a 10-1 record and won the league championship - the first time in the franchise 30 year history. I was selected to the NC All Stars team.

I am currently an honor student in grade 10 at École secondaire Catholique Embrun, just south east of Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. I also played for my high school team, the Cyclones of Embrun (#62) and we won our school district league championship for the second year running. This fall (2011), I won the Offensive MVP and the most promising player awards.

I love the game of football. I love the discipline, the team work and the strength of character it demands from the players. It is a tough game both physically and mentally. There is nothing like the moment when you have to work your heart out as a team in a good cause and you finish exhausted on the field of battle that is the gridiron - VICTORIOUS!.

This winter I did off season training with speed trainer Kyle Kennedy from Razor's Edge Performance of Ottawa, Ontario. I am currently training with coach Shawn Naylor at the FARM Fitness in Orleans, Ontario in addition to practicing with the Cumberland Panthers.

My next important event is our season opener with OVFL Cumberland Panthers against Markham Raiders on May 26h in Markham at 7 pm
